Dealer Overview
In the early 1970s, W. Dale Maxwell established the Kawasaki motorcycle dealership in Hendersonville, NC. Over the years he acquired Suzuki and KYMCO. During the past 40 years, Dal Kawa Power Sports has expanded its inventory and cycling accessories to accommodate every customer's needs. Anyone who has ridden a motorcycle or ATV during these years knows Dale Maxwell as a friendly local dealer.
In March 2017, Dale Maxwell sold his dealership to Tom and Randy Hunter. We combined the inventory of Hunter Power Sports that previously did business in Asheville, NC selling Can-Am, Sea-Doo, and Spyder products. Now our business has all of the top-performing power sports products with something for everyone. In November 2020, Dal Kawa Power Sports moved to 2520 Asheville Highway in Hendersonville and rebranded to Hunter Power Sports. At Hunter Power Sports, you will find the largest showroom west of Charlotte, NC, with a huge selection of new and pre-owned motorcycles, personal watercraft, mules, scooters, and ATVs. In 2023, Hunter Power Sports added the Triumph brand as the only location in Western North Carolina.
The Hunter family has been in the transportation business in Hendersonville, NC for over 80 years, our family - our people care about you and your experience, and our owners are on-site to give you the peace of mind you deserve.
