La Dolce Vita on Three Wheels!
Experience the charm of Italian life in motion with this stunning 1960 Vespa VBB 150, complete with a beautifully paired sidecar!
Vespa has been an icon of freedom, fun, and timeless style since post-war Italy, and this gorgeous classic captures it all. Whether you are cruising through town, turning heads at car and bike shows, or just living your own Roman Holiday dream, this Vespa is pure magic on wheels.
Vintage 1960 VBB 150cc two-stroke engine with classic Vespa performance and sound.
Matching sidecar, perfect for a passenger, your pup, or just extra style points
Beautiful period-correct styling with chrome accents, classic curves, and authentic flair
From a collection in California with modifications consistent with those that have been refurbished overseas and imported to the US. It is finished in two-tone red and cream and powered by a 149cc two-stroke single paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a kick starter, a Dell Orto carburetor, an expansion chamber exhaust system, a trailing-link front end, 10 inch steel wheels, rider and passenger seats, front and side storage compartments, chrome front and rear cargo racks, and a covered spare tire. The coordinating sidecar features a red vinyl seat, a headlight, a drum brake, a rear bumper, and a tonneau.
The scooter was refinished in two-tone red and cream and is accented by Piaggio and Vespa badges. Features include matching rider and passenger seats as well as brightwork consisting of the fender moldings, footboard strips, and rear mudguard. The three-in-one luggage rack integrates a spare-tire carrier and a padded backrest. Additional equipment includes a rubber center mat, a locking front glovebox, a locking side storage compartment, and dual mirrors.
Red-finished 10 inch two-piece wheels have been fitted in place of the stock 8 inch wheels, and they are mounted with whitewall tires. A covered spare is carried on the rear rack. Suspension consists of a single-sided trailing-link front end as well as an engine-case swingarm with a single rear shock. Braking is from drums at both ends.
The sidecar is painted red with a cream center stripe and features a single seat upholstered in matching vinyl as well as a drum brake, a headlight, a rear bumper, and a matching tonneau.
The handlebar shroud houses a Veglia-branded 120 km/h speedometer and is flanked by gray rubber Piaggio-branded grips. The five-digit odometer shows 36 kilometers (22 miles). Total mileage is unknown. The ignition switch has been relocated to the frame underneath the seat.
The air-cooled 149cc two-stroke single is integrated with the rear swingarm and features a Dell Orto carburetor, an aftermarket expansion chamber exhaust system, and a kick starter. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a four-speed manual transmission shifted via the left twist-grip/clutch-lever assembly.
The numbers stamped on the engine align with those found on a 1960 VBB 150. The engine number shows signs of having been re-stamped.
The number VBB1T001965 is stamped on the bodywork and matches the number on the title.
