1966 BMW R60/2

Very nice and unique 1966 R60/2 with some very rare parts!

This bike was originally sold in Germany and was bought over there by a US service member on deployment at the time. The bike was enjoyed for many years and toured over Europe before being sold by the former owner upon returning stateside. The bike has a very rare sport front fender and large Heinrich Fuel Tank.

The bike lived in Germany most it's life and received normal serving and at one point went through a restoration. The bike was bought back by the previous owner and imported to the US a few years ago. More work was commissioned on the bike at that time by us and eventually sold to MAX BMW in the process.

We sold the bike to a long time customer and friend who took the bike to the next level by installing a large Heinrich Fuel tank and US handlebars, transforming the way the bike looks and handles (for the better).

While the bike was in our possession we performed the following service work:

- New battery

- Installed new fuel lines

- New albert mirrors installed

- New throttle cables

- Check and adjust steering bearings

- Performed top end reseal (all new cylinder base, head, and valve cover gaskets)

- New push rod tube seals installed

- Rebuilt carbs with new gasket set

This is a beautiful well running /2 that turns heads anywhere it goes!
