Motorcycle Overview
1974 Honda CB450
VIN: CB450-7006509
1974 marked the end of a ten year production cycle of the iconic CB450, and this final year model represents the most refined and elegant version of Honda's famed middleweight sport bike. Beloved by enthusiasts for its sophistication and reliability, this last iteration included further significant technical advances over the groundbreaking early 450s in the stopping (disc front brake), performance (5 speed transmission), styling (a la the famed CB750) and electrical (upgraded alternator and electrics) departments.
The example shown here was purchased by the current owner in 2008 with the odometer showing just under 14,500 miles. It is an all original unmolested example, with its candy gold paint and other cosmetics showing only the normal patina of its 52 year heritage. It was ridden sparingly and regularly serviced and maintained until 2015, when it received a final service and was pickled and put into storage. The odometer currently shows a reading of 15,248 miles. (All maintenance and repair documents furnished with sale.)
