Motorcycle Overview
1975 Triumph Trident 750CC
Factory Original-
Here is your chance to own a piece of Triumph Motorcycle history! This bike is as it was produced by Triumph and was never registered, cranked or driven on the road.
Factory fresh with only 6 miles, all of which were put on when the bike was pushed around its storage location. The engine still has factory motor oil in it!
Pampered And Cared For-
Direct from the factory to Arnold Motorcycle in Memphis, TN and this is where Jimmy Arnold decided to keep this bike for himself. At that point it was put on display and kept at his dealership until which time it was by the Dennis Carpenter in Concord, NC. It remains in the Dennis Carpenter Collection today.
Triumph History-
This Trident T160R has some unique features. The D.O.T. required this three-cylinder machine to have the brake pedal located on the right side for use in the USA.
Built by Norton Villiers Triumph LTD, which was the larger company that picked up the regular Triumph brand when the original manufacturer, Triumph Engineering LTD ceased production in 1972.
This motorcycle is extremely rare! It would be difficult to find another 1975 Triumph Trident T160R like this one. So, if you collect the rare and hard to find, then this motorcycle is for you!
