DEALER NOTES:Being offered for sale is a 1977 Moto Guzzi V1000 Convertible. This is the quintessential70s and 80s California Highway Patrol model that they used for many years of service. These bikes have become mostly lost to time with 10s of thousands being produced back in the day and then in recent decades drying up as collectors bought them for their private collections and the rest were mostly reduced to languishing in salvage yards as prices got cheap and they were scavenged for parts to keep the higher mile units going. This is a nice original survivorand runs good, it recently had the fuel system gone through with the Dellorto VHB 30 carbs being fully rebuilt with new OEM parts as well as new fuel lines and fuel petcocks, the tank was professionally cleaned and looks great inside and out. It also has new NGK plugs and a newer battery. Bike runs good but could use a rebuild of the brake system from sittingcompletely unused the past 7 years. We are providing OEM Brembo brake caliper rebuild kits with the bike as well as all OEM engine gaskets that are needed for a full tune up.
