Motorcycle Overview
1980 Honda CB750F
VIN: RC04-2106477
The 750cc four that Honda produced in 1980 occupies an interesting niche in the history of the company's storied CB750 series motorcycles. While its DOHC 4 valve per cylinder motor with electronic ignition and its front and rear dual disc/single disc brake combo provides superior performance in every way, it has significantly lower market value than its early 70's 750K forebears all of which makes it a relative bargain in today's market, and sure to go up significantly in value as time goes by.
The example you see here was purchased by the current owner in 2012, in all original condition and with only 8,100 miles showing on the odometer. It received a complete service then and again In 2015, when at 8,700 miles a fresh set of tires was installed. By 2018 the Pleiades Silver Metallic paint on the tank was starting to fade, and the tank received a complete repaint in its original colors. The bike has been carefully maintained and sparingly ridden since, and the odometer currently reads a low 9,145 miles. (All maintenance and repair documents furnished with sale.)
