1983 Kawasaki kz1100 LTD Shaft (RARE in this condition)

This motorcycle is in spectacular condition. Always kept garaged. All original survivor. All Kawasaki parts. It looks like it just came off the showroom floor.

No cashier's check or inspection scams. If out of state, pay by direct wire transfer or if local, pay cash upon inspection.

Just fully serviced by Kawasaki trained mechanic (Best in Idaho). Advertised at 100HP at 8,000 RPM. Curb weight 597.5 #. Paid $1,900 to have him overall all 4 carbs with new kits, replace front and rear tires, install centerstand (original missing) and do a full safety check on all systems.

Top speed 131.73 MPH, however 1983 speedo only goes to 85 MPH.

Inline 4-cylinder air cooled rocket. Fuel capacity 5.5 gallons. 5 spd transmission.

Has original case guard with highway pegs and cruise control. Has original owners manual.

The paint is a dark metallic brown with gold graphics, but in the pictures it appears black.

Everything works perfectly. The black plastics are in excellent condition, no fading. Paint is excellent. Seat is excellent. Has never been wrecked or damaged. Chrome is excellent and this bike had the optional chrome engine accessory package. The chrome on the stator cover was corroded, so I purchased a polished aluminum cover, but the original chromed cover comes with it and may be re-chromed by the time of the sale.

Starts and runs perfect. Shifts perfect. Excellent brakes. Amazing acceleration.

Has the rare kickstand lock system. Comes with a quick detach National Cycle nlexifairing and a new cycle cover.

I am 71 and this is my 7th Kawasaki inline 4 and my third LTD. This is by far the nicest and fastest one I have ever owned. It is amazing in person. Free and clear Idaho title. Never wrecked or down. No damage anywhere.

With 23,724 miles since new and a 40 year old motorcycle, it has had an average of 594 miles per year ridden. Mint, showroom condition. No smoke. Had mechanic rebuilt carbs, replace tires, do a full 100% safety check. Everything in perfect working order.
