The Honda Dream 50 (also known as the AC15) was released in 1997 to commemorate the CR110 (the successful 1962 Honda RC110 single cylinder racer), incorporating the original styling including racing handlebars, the long thin fuel tank and race tail.
The AC15 engine is a single transverse cylinder with double overhead camshafts, held in a diamond design frame with single front down tube that bolts directly to the crankcase.
A commercial racer version, designated the AR02 or Dream 50R, was only imported into the US in 2004, whereas the Dream 50 is completely road legal. The Honda Dream 50 is a faithful tribute to those magnificent 60s bikes that put Honda on the map and firmly in history. Refined and made far more user friendly, the Dream 50 became an instant collectible and are extremely hard to find today.
