This 2000 Harley Davidson FXR4 is one of approximately 300 CVO units built in Orange. Unlike some of the rumors that were circulating at the time, these motorcycles were all new production and not put together from parts in stock. The total production run was approximately 900 units with the other 600 units painted yellow. The FXR4 was discovered at a Mecum auction during 2017 coming out of a major east coast collection. The odometer indicated that only 7 miles were on the clock. The discovery was a true time capsule being in NOS like condition. The buyer who was now the second owner, proceeded to service the motorcycle and replace the tires and battery. The bike ran and shifted as it should and was ridden to 24 miles. It was then decommissioned and placed into long term storage in a private collection. The buyer retains the original tires and parts that can come with the bike of desired.
