Motorcycle Overview

2002 Harley Davidson V Rod The VRSC (V Twin Racing Street Custom) was introduced in 2001 in a single model called the V-Rod. The V-Rod was developed to compete against Japanese and American muscle bikes. Making use of the Revolution engine, developed jointly with Porsche that, for the first time used overhead cams and liquid cooling. Unlike other Harley production motorcycles, a 60-degree V-twin engine, the radiator and the hydro formed frame members support the round-topped air cleaner cover. The fuel tank on the V-Rod is located underneath the seat, placing the rider on top of it, rather than the usual frontal placement. For consignment I present a V-rod on Steroids. A street racer fuel injected V Twin, BUT now with a Trask Performance Turbo Kit. attached. An intercooler addition has also been added. This increases engine HP from 115 HP to 160-165 HP, and 100-105 TQ to the rear wheel. A 5-speed dog and pocket transmission belt drive are seen, and chrome presents in near perfect condition. Anodized aluminum body panels, and a silver powder painted frame are also in excellent condition. Barbed wire airbrushed motif undulates throughout the front fender to the tank and through to the rear fender. Dual front disc brakes will bring this beast to a reasonable speed, or a screeching halt. A cluster of triple analog gauges center themselves on the middle of the handlebars. Overall this bike presents in very good condition, and with the turbo upgrade aftermarket addition, this is a real head turner, if you can snap your neck quick enough to follow it going by you!
