2002 Yamaha FZ1

2002 Yamaha FZ1 1000cc motorcycle for sale $3500 OBO bike cranks and runs on the first try, the bike is carbureted, with 4 single barrel carbs, so on the first cold crank, you do have to pull the choke, and she will fire to life.

Currently has 40,300 miles on the bike, and 14,700 miles on the replacement engine. The engine was replaced at 27,500 miles back in 2015. Bike is in good shape, Im the 3rd owner of the bike, the first owner was from Georgia, the second owner was from Birmingham, who bought the bike to use it as a drag bike on track.

Which is probably the reason for the short life of the first engine, I purchased her with some Rash from her track days, and replaced most of the Rash parts, but you can still see it in a few places like the Front Brake Reservoir, and the mid pipe on the Yoshimura RS3 Exhaust, also a little visible around the outer edge of the front Fender.

The bike has some scuffs, scrapes, scratches and dings on the gas tank, and around the rest of the bike, but nothing major.

Great bike comfortable for long distance rides, Ive rode it out to Dallas Texas for the National Bikers Roundup, Myrtle Beach South Carolina for Bike Week, Ocala Florida to tour, and to Robbinsville North Carolina to ride the Tail of the Dragon several times.

I ride her regularly every couple of months for 400 mile day rides with my buddies up through Tennessee, Georgia, and around North Alabama, before bringing her back in. Shes ready for you to twist the throttle, and take her on a new adventure. The bike is dependable, and has never left me walking, shes always brought me back home no matter how far Ive rode her.

Bike has a USB Charging Port, and a 12 Volt DC Outlet Socket, the headlights have been upgraded to LED, all turn signals are also LED, and the Tag Lights are LED too. She comes with the factory Yamaha Tool Kit under the seat, as well as a handy multi tool, just in case you ever have a roadside emergency.

She comes with the Yamaha Motorcycle Manual, and Maintenance Manual, as well as detailed Maintenance Records. She also has a Center Stand along with a kickstand, which makes maintenance, and chain care a breeze. It also allows her to park on just about any terrain.
