Motorcycle Overview
Since 1957 the Sportster has combined quick and responsive handling with a flat torque curve and unmistakable styling that make the Sportster a true American icon. The 1200R Roadster embodies a radical transformation with a redesigned powertrain that boasts high performance cams, high flow combustion chambers & ports and boasts an increased 6000 rpm redline making it a blast to ride! Other features worth mentioning are the dual front disc brakes, the tachometer and a completely redesigned fuel tank adorned with special graphics. This particular example was optioned in Racing Orange and has been accessorized with a factory security system, a quick release passenger backrest, custom driver & passenger footpegs with matching highway pegs, ISO handgrips, a Live to Ride gas cap and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its performance exhaust system. It was just thoroughly serviced at which time it received a new battery, new tires, a new air filter, a carb kit as well as all new fluids, filters and gaskets. It is in excellent condition and only has 14,105 miles on it. We have priced it below its appraised value of $5,975 for a quick sale so if you like what you see time is of the essence!
