2006 BMW K1200GT $3,750
This listing is for a 2006 BMW K1200GT. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION.
The bike is a 2006 BMW K1200GT with approximately 44,000 miles on it. The bike has heated grips, heated seat, and electric windshield, all of which are in good working order. The seat is a Motorad aftermarket seat. The bike has BMW saddle bags along with rear trunk. The bike comes with two owner's manuals, a Chilton service manual, a new ABS Master unit that needs to be installed if you prefer ABS brake system, bike cover, and a stainless screw kit to replace all the screws on the body panels. The ABS when engaged works front and rear in tandem. In the present mode you control the front and rear brake separately. The bike has a rebuilt title.
The previous owner (a law enforcement officer) repainted the bike. The paint still needs to have a final wet sanding as there are a few runs here and there in the paint. They are not real noticeable unless you are looking closely for them. I was going to pull the bike apart and finish off the paint work and replace the screws and do a full fluid change this winter, but with my schedule I just have not had the time. The battery has been on a trickle charger off the bike so as to maintain it.
If you are wanting a good and very quick bike just for riding this is it. Do a search on the internet for information on this bike: 2006 BMW K1200GT, you will find nothing but praise for it. The tires still have good life left on them.
I am letting go of this bike as the riding position is a little too much of a sport position for me (knees). I am going to invest into an older air head in RT dressing.
