- 82-hp Rotax® 1000 V-Twin Engine
The most powerful mudding ATV engine is in the Outlander 1000 X mr. Fed by a 1.81 in. throttle body and twin Voltage Drop-out (VDO) Siemens fuel injectors, you’ve got the power to get in and out of the toughest mud holes.
- Constinuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with Ectra Low L-gear
Continuously Variable Transmission means the drive shaft is always in the right gear. For ease of use, you can count on the engine braking feature to help slow you down when going downhill. The CVT of the Outlander 1000 X mr also features an improved L-gear with more torque to the wheels and a softer engagement to avoid getting stuck in mud.
- 625-W Magneto
This package provides a more powerful magneto with 625 W of power output.
- Dual-Room Air Box
The new air box has been reconfigured and placed at a higher, more centralized location for filtering and processing air. The no-tools air box features a dual-room design, capturing dirty air in one portion of the box and clean air in the other before sending it to the engine.
- Large 5.4-gal Fuel Tank
Ride longer and get the job done with the large-capacity fuel tank.
- Relocated radiator
Located in place of the front rack, the Can-Am Outlander X mrs radiator is kept out of the mud and wears a protective, vented cover, ensuring youll be able to enjoy all-day rides in deep goop. The large, efficient radiator offers approximately 22 kW of cooling capacity.
- Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) G2 Frame
The next-generation, industry-exclusive SST G2 frame with Geometric Contact Control. The more efficient welded-steel frame incorporates new processes and updated geometry for increased structural integrity, improved durability, and precision handling.
- Torsinal Trailing Arm Independent (TTI) Rear Suspension
The only independent rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes, meaning the wheels pivot up and down rather than in a butterfly motion. This ensures the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it. Reconfigured for improved traction and optimal transfer of power to the ground.
- Fox PODIUM X Performance RC2.0 HPG Piggyback shocks
These high-performance front and rear FOX PODIUM X Performance RC2.0 HPG Piggyback shocks give riders the flexibility to fit the terrain and riding style, with easy dual-speed compression, rebound and preload adjustments.
- Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS)
The Tri-Mode DPS™ features three selectable modes (MIN, MED, and MAX) of steering, depending on rider preference. It is designed to offer less assist at high speed and more assist at low speed. Direct Link technology ensures fast response and less kickback. Also comes with Visco-Lok QE.
- 30 Gorilla Axle Silverback8 Tires on 14 Wheels
Designed by Gorilla Axle for mud riding and racing, these tires were developed to go in the deepest mud holes. Installed on large 14-in ITP SS312 cast-aluminum wheels to give an aggressive look.
- 59 Wheelbase
Uses the 59-in wheelbase of the Outlander MAX platform for improved performance in the deepest mud.
