2015 Harley-Davidson Touring

When Harley updated the touring line up in 2014 theRoad Glide wasn’t ready for release so it was not released until it wasperfected in 2015. Thisparticular example is a Road Glide Special which was upgraded with ABS Brakes,the Boom! Box 6.5GT infotainment system as well as the H-D Smart SecuritySystem with proximity based key fobs. We purchased this bike from Steel KnuckleCustoms who acquired the bike in 2019 with 17,452 miles on it. They convertedit into a custom dual fat tire bike with matching 18” rims front and rear aswell as 180mm tires front and rear which is the reason we refer to the bike asa Fat Glide instead of a Road Glide. While customizing the bike they replacedthe stock 103” engine with a new Harley-Davidson 120ST engine which produces106 hp and 117 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheel without any modifications. Itwas upgraded with a Velociraptor hi-flow air intake and it sounds just plainnasty ripping through its Rhinehart true dual exhaust system. You will alsoappreciate the quick-release passenger backrest, the newly redesigned DakotaDigital gauges, the lowered fairing, the Dirty Bird Windshield delete, thestretched bags and rear fender as well as the L.A. Choppers 10” Hefty TwinPeaks Ape Hangers which really sets off the look of the front end. It has Burlyblack MX Serrated boards for the driver and passenger as well as custom mirrors,pegs, pedals, grips and shift linkage. The stereo was upgraded with a SonyXAV-AX7000 BT stereo that is XM ready and features Apple Car Play, Android Autoand sounds amazing with the Diamond amp and 2 sets of PRV 6.5” speakers. Allsaid and done you would spend over $20,000 on the parts needed to make allthese upgrades and likely close to another $5,000 in labor.
