2015 Honda CBR1000RR

2015 Honda CBR 1000RRInspired By A Champion.

No motorcycle connects rider, machine and road like a sportbike. The immediate acceleration, the chassis that feels like an extension of your own skeleton, the power, the handlingand the bigger the sportbike, the more intense the experience.

Hondas CBR1000RR has long been the ultimate Superbike for experienced aficionados, and the 2015 CBR1000RR is really something special. First off, were celebrating Honda MotoGP rider Marc Marquezs back-to-back World Championships with some special graphics packages on the standard and SP models. Then theres the CBR1000RR ABS version, with the most sophisticated brake package in the class. But heres the biggest news: Track-day enthusiasts need to check out the CBR1000RR SP Repsol Edition version. With fully adjustable hlins front and rear suspension, Brembo front brakes and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC premium tires. The SP also includes a special lightweight subframe with solo seat cowl. The SP doesnt stop there, with hand-selected engine parts for weight and balance, including pistons and connecting rods.

Features May Include:
  • Rider Position

In 2015, the footpegs were moved further back by 10mm, and the handlebar angles revised inward and downward to move the rider triangle slightly downward and forward.

  • Windscreen

A bubble-shaped windscreen works in concert with the rider position changes to reduce wind resistance.

  • LCD Instruments

The CBR1000RRs full-screen LCD instrumentation includes a lap timer, trip and fuel-consumption computer, five-level customizable shift indicator, gear-position indicator and peak-rpm memory function.

  • 12-Spoke Wheels

With their consistent rigidity and balance, these sharp-looking 12-spoke cast-aluminum wheels work with the fork and enhance suspension feedback to deliver real handling improvements.

  • Big Piston Fork (BPF) Front Suspension

The CBR1000RRs front suspension uses a Big Piston Fork (BPF). The 43mm Showa fork is smoother, more responsive and gives you excellent front-end feedback.

  • Centrally Located Fuel Tank

The CBR1000RRs 4.7-gallon fuel tank is positioned in the center of the chassis and low in the frame. This allows for a more compact design but more importantly, it helps centralize the bikes mass. Increased mass centralization means the CBR is more responsive to rider input, especially when leaning the bike into a turn or standing it up at the exit.

  • Assisted Slipper Clutch

Superbikes can deliver a great deal of back-torque through the driveline, upsetting handlingnot the CBR1000RR. Its Honda-designed assisted slipper clutch is the same type used on our MotoGP bikes. The design does away with the need for heavy clutch springs, ensuring full power transmission with smooth shifting and a light clutch pull at the lever.

  • Twin-Spar Aluminum Chassis

A four-piece aluminum frame design balances strength, rigidity and lightness. Wrapped tightly around the engine, the structure helps centralize the CBR1000RRs mass for more responsive handlingsome of the best anywhere on two wheels

  • Layered Fairing

Theres no mistaking the 2015 CBR1000RR, thanks to its layered fairing bodywork. Lean, mean and more aggressive from front to back, its a real attention getter, even when its standing still.

  • Brembo Monobloc Front Calipers

The race-proven Brembo monobloc calipers are light, but they provide exceptional stiffness and excellent braking performance.
