Derived from Kawasaki?s ZX-14R platform sharing its 1352 cc inline-4 engine (though tuned more for torque and usable power across a tourist-friendly RPM range). Key Features & 2015 Updates Here are the upgrades and refinements introduced for 2015 compared to previous years: New first gear ratio ? makes starting from stop and low-speed maneuvering easier. Steering stem seal ? redesigned to reduce friction and make steering lighter especially at low speeds. Stiffer rear suspension initial settings ? better handling when loaded with passenger or baggage. New seat ? sculpted narrower at front to help shorter riders reach the ground; rear portion is flatter/longer for passenger comfort; double-stitching and anti-slip material. Electric windshield with adjustable vent ? new vent in windscreen (three positions) to reduce buffeting etc. Exhaust heat shield improvements ? to reduce rider and passenger discomfort when stopped or low speed.
