2018 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

The Scrambler Desert Sled is Ducatis true off-road scrambler so named after the bikes of the 60s and 70s that were customized to race across the Californian desert.

This bike has been through our service department and passed an 105 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also mounted and balanced a new set of tires, replaced fork seals and rear brake switch.

Our techs completed the operations required of Ducatis Desmo valve clearance check and adjustment. This exhaustive scheduled maintenance is critical to performance and longevity. Over 20 different checks and adjustments are required, including replacement of all belts, spark plugs, and all valve cover gaskets and seals.

This Desert Sled was brought to us with only seven thousand miles and represents the most off-road capable model in Ducatis Scrambler lineup. With a fortified chassis, taller suspension, extra ground clearance and spoked wheels with knobby tires, it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.
