This bike has been through our service department and passed a 105-point reconditioning and inspection process. Some of the points include an oil and filter change, flushing and bleeding the brake and clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical and charging-system test, a safety and lighting check, adjustment of controls, a torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic scan, and, of course, a test ride to confirm proper operation. The turn-signal bracket was also replaced.
With ten thousand miles, this FJR1300ES combines Yamahas smooth inline-four engine with electronically adjustable suspension, shaft drive, traction control, cruise control, and lean-angle-sensitive LED lighting for capable all-day sport touring.
