In celebration of 100 years of the iconic Indian Chief, first unveiled in 1921, Indian Motorcycle has reimagined the 2022 lineup, including the Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber, and Super Chief, each offering a unique take on the classic American V-twin. The Chief Dark Horse features a stripped-down, mechanical styling highlighted by drag handlebars, 19-inch cast wheels, mid-mount foot controls, a slim headlight bucket, and a solo bobber seat. It is based on a timeless, simplistic steel-tube frame and powered by Indian Motorcycles powerful Thunderstroke 116 motor, delivering 120 ft-lbs of torque. The bikes design pays homage to the glory days of American motorcycling, with a focus on minimalism and attitude, featuring bobbed fenders, exposed rear shocks, and dual exhaust. It includes modern features like a 4-inch touchscreen with RIDE COMMAND, offering turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes, and Bluetooth connectivity for calls and music.
