Roll like a factory pro with this striking Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Edition. Inspired by Yamahas factory race team, iconic blue and black Monster Energy livery combines with the YZ250Fs sleek, aggressive bodywork for a competition-ready look and feel.

A revised rear suspension linkage and updated shock settings enhance stability and traction feel in a wide variety of riding situations. To match the rear linkage revision, front suspension settings have also been updated including incorporating delta-shaped piston shims providing calmer front-end behavior and improved rider comfort.

A new handlebar switchbox now incorporates an updated raised rib design to help the rider avoid pressing the wrong button while wearing gloves.

Featuring a high-spec piston, aggressive cam profiles and forward positioned intake cylinder head layout, the YZ250Fs advanced four-stroke engine is known for its broad, useable powerband and class-leading low-end and mid-range torque.

An advanced aluminum bilateral beam frame based on the flagship YZ450F provides just the right amount of strength and flex for the perfect balance of stability and cornering performance. The result is a better handling machine with lightweight feel and increased front wheel traction, allowing the rider to enter corners with greater confidence and more line choices.

ENGINE

The YZ250Fs liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-valve, fuel-injected powerplant features a forward-positioned straight downdraft intake with symmetrical intake ports, high-spec piston and aggressive cam profiles. The advanced four-stroke engine is known for its broad, useable powerband and class-leading low-end and mid-range torque.

A forged piston features a bridge-box design for maximized strength with minimal weight. The piston, rings and DLC-coated piston pin, along with the offset cylinder configuration, all reduce friction loss. Intake ports, cam profiles, high-strength connecting rod, optimized crank and counter-balancer all work together to produce potent high-rpm power with user-friendly delivery and exceptional reliability.

The adjustable fuel injection system uses a 44mm throttle body, fed by a high-pressure electric fuel pump, to inject fuel through a 12-hole Denso injector. This ensures optimum fuel atomization and air/fuel calibration for excellent rideability in a wide range of riding conditions.
