The 2027 YZ450Fs advanced DOHC four-stroke engine is light and compact with world-renowned and incredibly broad pulling power across the entire rev range, thanks to its reversed cylinder head layout, forged aluminum piston, 39 mm titanium valves, lightened crank assembly and dry sump lubrication.

The precisely tuned aluminum bilateral beam frame balances strength and flex to optimize stability and cornering performance and deliver better handling with lighter feel, more agility, and increased traction allowing the rider to enter corners with greater confidence and more line choices.

• All-New Compact and Lightweight Rear Brake System

An all-new rear braking system provides linear stopping power with improved braking force and controllability in a smaller, lighter package. The size of the rear brake caliper and master cylinder pistons have been reduced, as well as the diameter of the rear brake disc (220mm). The brake hose material and disc rotor bolts have also been revised resulting in 180g of weight savings.
