• Potent YPVS Two-Stroke Engine

New for 2027, the potent 85cc liquid-cooled, two-stroke engines intake system now features the VForce4R reed valve, while the exhaust systems YPVS settings were also revised, resulting in a wider powerband and enhanced ridability across the entire rev range.

• Optimized Chassis Design

The YZ85LWs chassis is built for the best up-and-comers with strength, rigidity and overall handling stability. The aluminum swingarm balances longitudinal and torsional rigidity, and the removable rear subframe constructed from lightweight, high-strength aluminum reduces weight.

• Fully-Adjustable KYB Suspension

The lightweight 36mm KYB inverted cartridge fork features low-friction outer tubes and internals, plus adjustable compression and rebound damping. Paired with a race-proven fully-adjustable KYB rear shock with a progressive linkage-type design for excellent bottoming resistance, the combined packaged offer loads of suspension travel for serious competition on the track.
